Terrible Dragon's Lair Experience

Dragon's Lair Chinese takeaway in Welshpool was a nightmare from the moment I stepped inside. The overpowering stench that assaulted my senses upon entering was enough to make me question my decision to eat there. The restaurant resembled a derelict kitchen for the homeless rather than a place to enjoy a meal. The food was an absolute disaster. Not only was it cold and inedible, but it also emitted a peculiar and unpleasant odor that made my stomach churn. To top it all off, everything was swimming in a sea of grease. Spending £31 on this abomination was a painful lesson. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Minus 1 out of 5 stars

Just been and ordered food. Both me and my partner ordered 2 full meals each. Payed the extra 15% mandatory extra charge they put on due to "energy bill inflation" which is cheeky in itself. I ordered crispy duck pancakes, chips and sweet and sour chicken balls. My partner ordered a meal for himself. As i was enjoying the first part of my meal i wanted one of my crispy duck pancakes. To my surprise the only thing in that container that was crispy was the bone. The duck was in chunks and it was soggy like it was boiled. Im livid. Jumped straight in the car after calling the place 9 times to no success. We live round the corner so it didn't take long to get there to realise its closed. FUCKING ANGRY ISN'T THE F***ING WORD.

Absolutely disgusting food and even worse customer service!!! We ordered a full meal for my birthday or which 4 items were missing. We tried to call back at least 15 times to sort the order but they had closed at 8.30 rather than 10pm! The food we did have was disgusting! We paid £50 for our meal. They didn't even throw in a free bag of prawn crackers. Wanted me to pay for them! When I finally got in touch the following day to complain I had to wait 2 days for them to ring back! That's when we really got the true customer service experience!!!! He basically said I had not ordered what I said was missing!! When I said "no you have this all wrong, surely you can understand you ruined my birthday meal?" He told me he didn't care and told me to "F**k off!!!!!!" My partner heard this and got on the phone. He threatened my partner over the phone. We happened to be in town. He said I'm here now come and see me! So we did. After seeing the size of my partner, believe it or not he refused to open the door! Shouting explicits and throwing finger signs at my partner! My partners only reply was you obviously need the money more than we do but we will ensure everyone knows how we were treated!!!! I'm shocked and appalled! We genuinely only rang up to sort this out fairly! I strongly recommend if anyone is thinking of having a Chinese from here AVOID at all costs!!!
